Why We Started Orvao

We started Orvao around a simple idea: feeling safe shouldn't be complicated, expensive, or something you have to think twice about.

A lot of personal safety products ask a lot of you — a subscription, an app to remember, a charging routine that never quite sticks, a design you'd never actually carry. We wanted something different: one small device, one pull, no setup. Something you could hand to a daughter heading off to college, keep in your own bag on an evening walk, or clip onto a parent's keys without a long explanation.
